Sustainable excellence through collaboration

Work on sustainable mobility solutions is based on close collaboration between all involved parties. That means the authorities in question, but also between the authorities and industry, and between individual companies. For example by considering the possible opportunities for jointly stocking shops in the city centre or examining possible mobility solutions that are not merely sustainable, but also benefit all links in the supply chain.

TransiConsult brings the right people together. When a project manager selects companies for the various aspects of a project that need each other and can strengthen each other, the result may well be innovative, sustainable solutions. Apart from in existing supply chains, this particularly involves ‘thinking outside the box’. The ground-breaking use of traffic management in the field of logistics, for instance. This would enable freight to be moved more efficiently, and with less disruption to the city.

TransiConsult operates independently and its motto is ‘sustainable excellence through collaboration’. Network organization Connekt’s ‘Sustainable Logistics’ programme is one practical example of this, with its ‘Urban distribution’ scheme.
